Glycobalance Questions And Answers

Thirty-three questions on the formula, the dropper, safety and the offer, answered from the printed label rather than the sales page.

Everything we get asked

Grouped rather than ranked, so you can go straight to the part you came for. If your question is about taking this alongside something you already take, skip to the safety group — and then to your pharmacist, who can see your actual list.

The product

01What is Glycobalance?

A once-daily liquid dietary supplement taken by dropper, sold to support blood sugar already inside a normal range. A bottle is 1 fl oz, 30 ml, and gives thirty 1 ml servings.

02Is it a capsule or a tablet?

Neither. It is a liquid taken with the dropper built into the cap, which is the main practical difference between this and most products in the category.

03Who distributes it?

Gex Corporation LLP, PO Box 12730, Ogden, UT 84404, per the label, with a customer service phone number and email address printed alongside.

04Is it FDA approved?

No dietary supplement is. The label states manufacture in an FDA registered facility, which is an administrative fact about the premises rather than an assessment of the product.

05What does it taste like?

Sweetened rather than bitter. The other ingredients include natural flavours, stevia and xylitol.

What is in it

06What does the panel declare?

Chromium as chromium picolinate at 7 mcg, 20 percent of the Daily Value, plus a proprietary blend totalling 15.47 mg across twenty-one botanicals and amino acids.

07What is a proprietary blend?

A group of ingredients declared as one combined weight instead of individually. It is legal under US rules. It means the printed order tells you which weigh most, and nothing tells you by how much.

08Some sites list amounts like gymnema 150 mg. Why not here?

Because that is not what the label supplied to us says. We publish the printed panel. If the bottle you receive shows individual amounts, that is a different formulation and you should read it on its own terms.

09Does it contain berberine?

No. Berberine is common in blood sugar marketing but it is not on this label, so we will not list it as though it were.

10Is there caffeine in it?

Almost certainly. Green tea leaf extract and guarana seed extract are both in the blend and both carry caffeine. Neither amount is declared.

11Is it vegan or allergen free?

The transcribed panel carries no vegan claim and no full allergen statement. African mango is a seed extract, which matters if you have a seed or tree nut allergy.

12Does it contain sugar?

No. Stevia and xylitol are the sweeteners. Keep it away from dogs — xylitol is severely toxic to them.

Taking it

13What is the serving?

One dropperful, 1 ml, once daily. Shake the bottle first, place it in the mouth and swallow.

14Does it need to go under the tongue?

No. The printed instruction is to place it in the mouth and swallow. The label makes no sublingual absorption claim.

15When should I take it?

The label does not say. Mornings suit most people because of the caffeine sources in the blend.

16With or without food?

Either. Take it with a meal if you find the taste sharp.

17Can I take more than one dropperful?

No. Do not exceed the labelled serving.

18What if I forget a day?

Take the next one normally. Do not double up.

19How long does a bottle last?

Thirty servings, so thirty days at the labelled dose.

20How long before I judge it?

Eight to twelve weeks, which is where the research on these ingredients starts measuring. That is two to three bottles.

Safety

21Can I stop my medication if it works?

No. That decision belongs to your doctor, and stopping a prescription because a supplement seemed to help is one of the genuinely dangerous things people do at home.

22Is it safe in pregnancy?

No. It is not for use during pregnancy, while trying to conceive or while breastfeeding.

23Can under-18s take it?

No. The label restricts it to adults.

24Which ingredients should I flag to my doctor?

Monoammonium glycyrrhizinate, a licorice derivative that can raise blood pressure and lower potassium; and the caffeine from guarana and green tea. Both matter if you are treated for hypertension or a heart rhythm problem.

25What about liver or kidney disease?

Get it cleared first. Both organs process what you swallow and a blend of twenty-one plant extracts is a lot of unfamiliar chemistry for a compromised one.

26Should I stop before surgery?

Yes, at least two weeks before a planned operation, and tell your anaesthetist what you have been taking.

Buying and returns

27What does it cost?

$79 per bottle for two, $69 for three, $49 for six, against a struck-through regular price of $179. The two-bottle option carries $9.99 shipping; the other two ship free inside the US.

28Is there a single-bottle option?

Not on the seller's page as we found it. Two bottles is the smallest bundle.

29What does the guarantee cover?

Sixty days from delivery, empty bottles included, refunding the purchase price. Return postage is the buyer's and shipping fees are commonly not refunded.

30How long is delivery?

Domestic US orders typically arrive within a week of dispatch. International orders take longer and may attract customs charges.

31Can I buy it on a marketplace?

You may find listings, and we would not. The guarantee does not follow the bottle to a third-party reseller and you cannot verify storage or authenticity.

32Do you sell it?

No. This is an independent site and we may earn a commission if you buy through a link here, which is disclosed in the footer of every page.
