What this site is

An independent publisher covering one product. We did not formulate Glycobalance, we do not manufacture it, we do not sell it, we cannot see your order and we cannot refund anything. What we do is read the printed label carefully, read the research behind the ingredients on it, and write down what we find in language that does not assume a pharmacology degree.

There are thirty pages here for one bottle of liquid. That is deliberate. A supplement bought for a health concern deserves more than four paragraphs and a buy button.

How this site is paid for

Affiliate commission, and nothing else. If you follow a link from here to the seller's checkout and buy something, the seller may pay us a percentage of the sale. You pay exactly what you would have paid had you never found this site.

That model pulls in an obvious direction. Sites paid on commission tend to write enthusiastically, and readers are right to factor that in. Our answer is procedural rather than a promise of virtue:

• We publish the things that cost us money — the proprietary blend problem, the undeclared caffeine, the licorice derivative, the fact that a walk after dinner has better evidence than anything in the bottle.
• We grade the brand's own claims rather than repeating them, and two of the six do not survive the grading.
• We removed two graphics from the brand's asset pack — an FDA approval seal and a panel claiming this manages type 2 diabetes — and we say publicly that we did.
• We publish no testimonial we cannot document, and no rating markup without real reviews behind it.

How a page here gets written

1. Label first. Every statement about what is in the bottle is transcribed from the printed Supplement Facts panel, not from a sales page or a graphic. Where the two disagree, the panel wins and we say which is which.
2. Then the literature. For each featured ingredient we look for human trials, note the amounts used, and compare those to what a shared 15.47 mg blend can plausibly contain. The amounts are the whole argument.
3. Then the gaps. Anything we could not establish is written down as unknown. “Not established” is a finding, and a site that never prints those words is not looking.
4. Then a compliance pass. Every page is checked programmatically against a list of claims a dietary supplement may not make, before it is published. Pages fail that check regularly and get rewritten.

Who we are not

Not doctors, not pharmacists, not dietitians. Nothing published here is personalised medical advice and every page carries that statement. For anything touching your own treatment, the person worth asking is the one who can see your notes.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, tell us. We will fix it and note that we did, on the page itself rather than silently. That invitation extends to the manufacturer as much as to readers: if you believe we have misread the panel, send a photograph of the current label and we will correct the page.
